The CIE POUYET (Company International of Electricity, departement paratonnerres POUYET), perpetuates Iightning protection activity developped from 1936 to 1983 by Henry POUYET & Co. This activity more particularly includes :

o Previous studies for site protection.
o Manufacture and installation of lightning protection, surge arrestors, and suitable accessories.
o Study and realization of earthing systems, ground resistance measure.
o Supplying of aerial marking.

Since 1997, CIE POUYET develops a pylon activity, which progression is specially rapid.

Thanks to the CIE POUYET dynamism, the turnover increased, of + 51 % in 1997, and a rise of +20 % is forecasted for 1998.

The export turnover now represents more than 50 % of the global activity.
